About Me.

Hi, I’m Mary — a passionate UX/UI Designer with a background in computer science and business.

I specialize in crafting intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for mobile apps and websites. My journey started with a deep curiosity about how people interact with technology, and that passion led me to transition into UX design after earning my degree in Computer Science and completing hands-on design projects that solve real-world problems.

I’ve worked on everything from in-car navigation systems and SaaS platforms to socially impactful mobile apps. Whether I’m conducting user research, building prototypes in Figma, or collaborating with developers, I always focus on creating clean, accessible, and delightful experiences.

Before diving into design, I had a unique career path—from working in law and tech, to becoming a professional dancer. This diverse background gives me a strong sense of empathy and creativity, which I bring into every project.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring Berlin (or California!), catching up on design trends, or sipping strong coffee while sketching out new ideas.

Education

Higher institute of computer science

Studied the foundations of computer systems, programming, and software development, with a focus on problem-solving and logical thinking. Gained hands-on experience in building applications, debugging, and working with data structures and algorithms.

Throughout the program, I developed strong technical skills in coding, critical thinking, and system analysis — all of which laid the groundwork for my transition into UX/UI design. Highlights include team-based projects, UI prototyping coursework, and early exposure to human-computer interaction.

Google UX Design Certificate

Coursera · Completed

Completed a rigorous, hands-on program covering the foundations of UX design, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Learned to apply design thinking and human-centered design principles to solve real-world problems.

Gained practical experience using tools like Figma and Adobe XD, and built multiple end-to-end design projects — from user flow creation to high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

This certification deepened my skills in accessibility, responsive design, and iterative testing, and helped shape my UX mindset with a strong focus on empathy and usability.
